In DeCore (venus) the parallels between animating images and animating sound are being explored. The video, inspired by sacred geometry, is constructed by animating freshwater pearls and sounds from a sampled cello, creating subtle overtones emanating from a drone of multiple layers of a single note.The projected image creates a play of shadow and light in the space, the presence of the image mirrors the sonorous presence of sound. A reference to abstract movies and visual music is present.
